Facilities and Community, Monroe, Athletics
Loyola aspires to provide an undergraduate experience in which students can learn at the highest levels throughout all dimensions of campus life. An outstanding education requires an exceptional learning environment. Loyola’s faculty, ministry, and staff provide the human side of that equation, but the other depends on cutting-edge facilities. Faith in the Future will reshape some of the most important buildings on campus, providing our students superb spaces for scholarship, athletics, and spirituality tailored to Loyola’s mission.

Monroe Hall Renovation
No other academic building on campus is as important to serving Loyola’s Jesuit teaching mission as Monroe Hall, the university’s largest and most wide-ranging academic facility. Forty percent of all Loyola’s classes take place within Monroe Hall, from small humanities seminars to teaching laboratories and fine art and design workshops.

Multimedia Center
We have a vision to take us to the next level with a multimedia center and broadcast studio to conduct sophisticated newsgathering and strategic communications. The new multimedia center will become a laboratory for the media’s future. It can serve as an emergency operations center, a training center and a social media research facility.
