Fr. Carter's Causes

The Loyola Fund

At Loyola, student tuition and fees fund 85 percent of the university’s operating budget, with endowment and other revenue covering almost all the rest.
Yet a small gap—about one percent annually—remains. The Loyola Fund closes that gap.
The Loyola Fund provides university leadership with the ability to address important needs as soon as they arise, and it is entirely supported by gifts from members of the Loyola community.

The Physics Department

The Physics Department is dedicated to helping their students achieve success both in the classroom and beyond. Physics students conduct and participate in a variety of undergraduate research projects leading to publications, conference presentations, and seminars. The students have presented at national and regional conferences, co-authored published articles, and presented at Loyola seminars.
